Healing harp at San Francisco Kaiser
Kaiser Permanente understands the importance of preventive and complementary healing work, and is our greatest supporter.
Healing harp at work at the Berkeley Primary Care Clinic
This clinic plays an important role for the many who do not have health insurance. The staff are dedicated, inspiring, and always manage big smiles for the harp despite a heavy workload.
Fascinating article on music therapy

Latest Antioch Kaiser visit report from Muse Patrice
Just in from our monthly visit to Kaiser Antioch. It’s a physically beautiful place – thoughtful green architecture, the foyer frames the back side of Mt. Diablo in a swath of sky and light almost all day long, there’s a permanent labyrinth for meditative walks – and it’s a hospital with all the stress and emotion associated.
We usually set up near the lab for awhile and then come to the foyer since all the offices nearby open onto that space and the music can float where it will. In each space there are chairs or benches where folks can rest and listen. What inevitably happens is that someone will be walking or wheeling down the corridor and do a double-take when they see a harp. First, it’s a harp! and second, that music they heard is live and not canned! Imagine!
The greatest charm of today was a little red-headed gal, in her papa’s arms, who was transfixed by the harp and whose stare was almost palpable! He was preoccupied; she was on target! Do I sense a baby harpie being born?
Welcome – let’s talk healing harp!
Dear friends,
Welcome to our blog, where we hope to create and active and interactive community about all things healing harp. It’s a calling here at Healing Muses, and some of our most passionate work, so we strive to elevate and promote the practice while maintaining a sense of humor and wonder. Please tell us what you think!
Diana
